Building reconstruction to species conservation station and combined bird and bat conservation building, insect hotel. Plot development as biotope with more than 800 indigenous berry-bearing wild bushes suitable for the local conditions, drought-resistant deciduous tree species and 460 tonnes of local rocks as an alternative habitat for reptiles. Cost: € 55,000.00

More than 100 nest boxes, breeding cavities, roost places and bat quarters
Common Kestrel, Barn Owl, Eurasian Jackdaw, Common Swift, House Martin, Starling, House and Tree Sparrow, Black Redstart, Pied Wagtail, and bat species such as the Common Pipistrelle




With more than 30 breeding pairs and 78 fledged Jackdaws in 2020, our Dörtendorf species conservation is a true European Jackdaw stronghold, contributing to the resettlement of the species in East Thuringia.
