Every year, tens of thousands of nesting sites, breeding sites and daylight roosts of our increasingly threatened structure-dwelling wildlife species are destroyed. We deprive them of their right to exist, and of their livelihoods, out of ignorance, thoughtlessness, and often misunderstood sense of order, as well as house conversions, roof renovations and the legally required, energy-saving thermal insulation measures.
Our species conservation buildings create a wide variety of breeding cavities, nest sites, niches, day roosts, and summer and winter quarters for our increasingly threatened structure-dwelling wildlife species. Many of these species are already on the German Red List. We also provide on-site advice to property owners, local news media and energy suppliers in terms of practical, clear examples and suggestions for specific species protection measures in their homes, public buildings and facilities and farm buildings.
